* Almost all pre-employment checks start with the verification of the information on your resume. To avoid any problems with any company, make sure that all of the details you've indicated on your resume are truthful and precise. Do not include any claim that can put you at risk or prosecution.
* As there are now a lot of online background check facilities (such as consumer reporting agencies), it would be advisable to do a background check on yourself. It will cost you a small amount of money, but it will be worth it in the end because you can make sure that your future employers will see accurate information and you can immediately correct any discrepancies if any.
